We\u2019ll be playing the submissions to the <a href=\"https:\/\/globalgamejam.org\/2022\/jam-sites\/ggj-tuscon-2022\">Global Game Jam!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Update: <a href=\"https:\/\/globalgamejam.org\/2022\/jam-sites\/ggj-tuscon-2022\/games\">The jam has end and you can see our games here!<\/a> <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Global Game Jam site has exceeded our expectations this year! As I write this we have several teams hard at work on polishing their games before submission! We have had a great turnout, some of the highlights so far:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>With the switch to virtual we\u2019ve created voice and text channels for teams to work in. This has really allowed the teams to see what others have been working on. Even though we are fully virtual, it still allows us to poke our head in to a room and see what people are doing.<\/li><li>We\u2019ve had a lot of collaboration from outside of Tucson this year! We\u2019ve had people from Phoenix, and I talked with one dev working from Austria. We\u2019ve gone international! \ud83d\ude00<\/li><li>We\u2019ve had a few people streaming! A quick shoutout to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitch.tv\/carbscode\">CarbsCode<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitch.tv\/systemaddict\">SystemAddict<\/a> who are working together on Team CarbAddict (great name lol) <\/li><li>Creampuff made a saguaro dab, which is now our latest emoji :tgd_dab:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"699\" height=\"765\" src=\"https:\/\/tgdstaging.enemyhideout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/4FD919AE-C251-44A0-AF86-4015E05A6010.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4352\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>See you this Wednesday on Discord!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Next Meeting is this Wednesday February 2nd at 7pm in our Discord channel!
