And last year we provided trophies and cash to the top games for <a href=\"https:\/\/tgdstaging.enemyhideout.com\/?p=1023\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1023\">Ludum Dare 45<\/a>. And this year we plan on doing the same for Ludum Dare 47!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Ludum Dare?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ludum Dare is a game jam that occurs twice a year (historically it used to occur 3 times a year). What&#8217;s a game jam you ask? Its when a small team gets together and builds a game over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ludum Dare 47 will occur October 2nd-5th. There are two events running simultaneously, the 48-hour &#8216;compo&#8217; and the 72-hour &#8216;jam&#8217;. You can participate in either event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What do I win?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>$100 goes to first place, and $50 to second place! There will be 3d printed plaques as well for the winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I participate?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You have to be in the TGD discord and be in Tucson. If you want to participate and we don&#8217;t know you, join our Discord asap and introduce yourself!<\/li><li>Submit a game on ldjam.com for voting.<\/li><li>Voting takes place over 30 days on the ldjam website. During this time you can update your game however you like.<\/li><li>Once voting is over, the team with the highest ranked game wins, and 2nd highest is 2nd place.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope you&#8217;ll build a game, and take part!
