Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How it Works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;ve created a game for <a href=\"https:\/\/itch.io\/jam\/ua-gamedev-fall-2019\">Ludum Dare<\/a> over the LD weekend, you have one week to further polish your game. Then next Sunday October 13th we will host a competition. We will play the entries, present them, and vote on the best ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> The winner will win $100 and the runner-up gets $50.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You have to have submitted the game to Ludum Dare 45.<\/li><li>It is free to enter and anyone can join.<\/li><li>You have to physically be at the Juiced event to win (not all team members must be there).<\/li><li>The game must be playable.<\/li><li>Everyone who shows up will play each other&#8217;s games and vote for the winner.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where\/When\/What<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition will take place October 13th at 2pm at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tucsongamesandgadgets.com\/home.html\">Tucson Games &amp; Gadgets<\/a> in the Tucson Mall (our regular monthly meeting).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introducing Ludum Dare: Juiced!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Its Saturday evening on a Ludum Dare weekend! What does that mean? It means operating on little to no sleep, with a pile of bugs and an even bigger list of ideas that looked so easy to do on Friday night! It means working on a prototype and laughing when it does something completely unexpected and amazing. It means having a completed game soon, and all the satisfaction that goes with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But&#8230;.WHAT THEN?! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Post jam means showing your game to your friends. Maybe some streamers will play it and you can laugh and cringe and think &#8216;damn, there&#8217;s a pretty cool idea in there&#8217;. Maybe its worth taking to the next level.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TGD wants to help with that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year we want you to take your game jam game and keep going. Take it up a notch and polish that nugget to a blinding sheen. We want you to JUICE IT!
